The Rolling Stones-Aftermath

One of my favorite bands of all time-The Rolling Stones. Aftermath is great album start to finish. What's interesting is that being their fourth studio album it was also a major artistic breakthrough for The Rolling Stones, being the first full-length release by the band to consist exclusively of Mick Jagger/ Keith Richards compositions. To prove the album's excellence the US edition of Aftermath was ranked number 108 on the List of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
A debatable live performance as many shows back then were pre-recorded and mimed on stage, this video is still a great example of my personal favorite song off the album.

What I really like about this video is that it shows Mick's presence as a frontman and Brian Jones is just a badass on those marimbas.

  15. Heh, Mick definitely has a presence there. The rest of the band don't seem to be into it very much, though.

Good post! Looking forward to reading future entries.
